Hiked the main trail to Glacier Lake, attempted to climb Survey Peak but only made it through the trees, ran out of time (slow bushwacking). Started hiking out next day via unmaintained horse trail, could not ford Howse river and followed the river valley to meet the other trail another 6km down - a lot of bushwacking involved again, there was tons of deadfall in the area.
