Paintballing + Jason's party + Alberta Jam
September 17-18, 2011

My awesome friend Jason is getting married next weekend, so we
had a little party for the occasion! First we went paintballing
in Waiparous, then we drove into the Ghost and had a great
barbecue with beer around a campfire until the late hours of
the night!
On Sunday everyone was very hungover but a few ventured for
some climbing. Ian and Ben went to the Silvertongue Devil wall,
and me, Dow and Jason went to Alberta Jam. Going to something
so hard in our hungover state should have seemed like a bad
idea from the very beginning, but we went anyways. There was
no onsighting that day, and we'll leave it at that. :) Alberta
Jam has to be the best single pitch limestone climb in the
country, however - if not the world (that is, if you love cracks).

Jason - we gave him the skirt to look funny, but I think it was more scary than funny when combined with the gun! |
Paintball hurts! Some serious bruises... |
Think that's enough wood? Having fun, redneck style in the Ghost! |
