Exploring Jackson, Wyoming area, and the Sawtooths, Idaho

As a last big adventure before the kiddos arrive, we headed out on
a two week road trip through Wyoming and Idaho! We spent the first
week around Jackson, with a 2-day stint to see Yellowstone (yikes,
so many people, it makes Yosemite Valley look desolate...). We had a
great time fly fishing at Granite Creek and Pacific Creek - in both
places we were practically by ourselves! The Hoback and Gros Ventre
rivers were still too muddy with snow melt run-off.
After that, we went back to one of our favorite areas in Idaho -
between Ketchum and Stanley. We scored a nice campsite for a couple
of days after a last minute cancellation right at Redfish Lake,
which was awesome - we SUP'ed to dinner at the lodge the first
evening, right from our campsite! :) The next day we took the boat
shuttle across the lake (5 miles) and hiked in to climb at 'Super
Slab', a nice easy 5-pitch climb a couple of miles in. Being that
Melissa was 6 months pregnant, it was the perfect length day! We
returned with plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon on the lake, and
another nice dinner. :) A couple of more days of mostly fishing and
then it was time to go home!
