People: Peter Valchev, Parisa Tabriz

We drove out with Parisa on Friday night and crashed in the ditch, escaping the rangers. Got up at 4am, drove to the trailhead and start hiking by 5:30... we made it to the base of the peak less than two hours later where we found another party already on-route, up the first pitch! They were actually on another variation and it all worked out. A couple of hours later I could see at least 8 more people, showing how popular this route is!

Really beautiful climbing in an amazing setting. The summit block was spectacular!
