I thought there were around 6 feet of snow on our roof, but when the neighbor hired a crew to shovel due to an ice dam - I realized it was deceiving. So I got up there and started shoveling too... good thing, as two more rounds of big storms came!	The snowbanks got impressive.

	Apres ski. I wish I was a 7-year old sometimes.	OK, time to get shovelling!	Safety first. Buried some shovels as 'deadman' anchors

	First time I took a vacation day to shovel a roof. 6-7 hours of non-stop shoveling was very exhausting

	But I got a lot of the weight off the roof! I did it a second time a few days later.		Impressive snowbanks at the airport. Watch those wing tips!

		Truckee Elementary is behind this snowbank. A crew was shoveling the roof and they had to shovel snow UPWARDS... the roof is below the snow level.
