Tahoe weekend: Lover's Leap, NF American River
September 15-16, 2012

On Saturday, we had a fun morning doing Hospital Corner, The Gamoke, Power Lust and Stem Meister in less than 4 hours, before the sun came to the wall. Once it got hot we went to South Lake Tahoe chilling out and going to the Tahoe Climbing/Bouldering festival, which was a load of fun! On Sunday we went to the North Fork of the American River, which is a gnarly class IV river run in the spring time, but in the fall it makes for a beautiful place to hike and swim (it's not dam controlled). The only other people we saw all day were ~10 folks that were camped along the river and... guess this, panning for gold! The Gold Rush isn't over after all? Ha!
