On Thursday, we got up early, hoping to do Crimson Crystalis, which is one of the most famous Red Rocks moderates. Sadly, we got to the base just as another party was starting the route ahead of us. In addition, it was really cold... so we weren't motivated enough to push to the top, and leisurely rappelled after the first 3 pitches. Did I mention it was cold? Left it for another time.

On Friday, we met up with Heather and Russ and went to The Gallery to sport climb. Me and Rich battled the pump on Yaak Crack (5.11d) - a famous sport climb there, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Saturday, me and Chris did Geronimo on Jack Rabbit Buttress (4 long pitches of 5.7). The climb was nothing memorable, but the descent truly sucked. Radek sums it up quite well in the SP description of the route. We started quite late (past noon), which was a good choice, as the numerous parties ahead of us had began rapping off. We still made it down before dark, despite the mandatory stuck rope that required climbing up to get. The only not-so-good part of the day? Someone stole my sandwich from the base of the route. I was more entertained than upset, but still have trouble explaining it to myself... Thankfully Chris had a bunch of extra food to share with me.

Sunday was another sport climbing day, mostly at the first pullout. We climbed some great long routes on one of the lower walls, before moving to the greatly named Panty Wall. I did some 5.11a sport climb at the Panty Wall, while Rich led the classic Panty Raid - 5.9+ gear route on the wall, and then we swapped ropes, before heading off to the airport.
