On Sunday we went to Squaw to close out the skiing season... (and use some free tickets I scored) - pretty warm and slushy snow, but it was fun! We even got a couple of pitches of rock at the Snowshed Wall before driving back.
The Line - one of the most classic climbs at the Leap, nice warm up | Topping out on The Line before the sun hits us |
East Corner | Looking back up at the East Wall. The East Corner is the obvious corner on the left 1/3 of the wall... |
Hiking around to Tombstone Terror | Beautiful place! | Starting up Tombstone Terror, 5.10c |
Tombstones in the background | We toproped Boot Hill, a tough 5.11 next door | Sunday, we skied for a couple of hours at Squaw - closing day! |
Molar Concentration, nice 5.10 finger crack | Then we did a couple of laps on Aerial |
Snowshed Wall in the afternoon light |
