Thanksgiving trip report
By far, Zion was the best part of our trip. The climb Headache
provided some of the most fun crack climbing I've ever done -
the first two pitches, when linked, contain 160 feet of #2
camalot crack... what could be better?! The scenery is gorgeous
too - that goes without saying.
In the afternoon, Dow & Stacy had to run to a wedding ceremony,
while we climbed in the sun, including a beautiful 5.11a which
we both struggled on... Then we joined up with everyone in
Springdale, which is a typical cute and small mountain town,
only a few minutes from the park gates. There was a live band
playing, then we had dinner at Oscar's - awesome!
Off to Red Rocks and
flying home the next day, sadly!
