West Crack (4p 5.9)
August 23, 2008

We drove up on Saturday morning, so we didn't start climbing before 1-2pm. Thankfully the crowds had cleared by then! Overall I didn't think this climb was anything to brag about, there were a couple of fun sections (1st move on pitch 1, and 1st move on pitch 2), I'd give it 3/5 stars :) There is a cool boulder at the top which serves as a belay anchor.

Afterward, I went in Tenaya for a dip, although it was late afternoon and the sun had disappeared, so I didn't last long in the water :) And the day wouldn't be finished without burgers!
