Wicked Wanda, South Ghost
December 28, 2007

Me and Jordan decided to sneak in an early morning run at Wicked Wanda. We returned very early in the afternoon as I planned a day of work. We went up to the start of the upper part and neither of us felt like it was worth doing - very chandeliered ice and huge, unstable ice features including a 4-foot roof that couldn't be circumvented, with water coming down to boot. We each did the first part once and rapped off. This climb seems to be in wildly different shape depending on the year - Jordan had done it previously in relatively straightforward condition.

And here is a free topo map of the area for Garmin GPS and the GPS waypoints and track. Click here to see.
