Scrambling
Mt Tyrwhitt from the ridge leading to Pocatera
For those who don't know, scrambling is a way to get to
the top of a mountain without ropes, but often using
your hands - a mix between climbing and hiking.
I also really enjoy technical rock, mountaineering and
alpine climbing - generally anything that will
get me outside is good.
I have the "Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies" book
by Alan Kane, which is a quality collection of
peak descriptions and route information.
